Accountabilities
Ensure timely collection of monies due to the company. Make recommendations to improve quality of collection procedures
Manage cash application ensuring all cash receipts are applied appropriately
Conduct credit checks, establish and manage limits. Monitor and report on deviations from credit standards
Initiate credits and adjustments to customer accounts within company policy limits
Maintain bad debt and bad debt recovery records
Ensure that AR transactions are loaded to the General Ledger timely and accurately. Reconcile assigned accounts and verify propriety of postings and classifications
Requirements
Must be able to speak, read, and write Chinese (Mandarin)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
Familiar with US GAAP
A good working knowledge and understanding of the Credit & Collections function with a minimum of three years of relevant work experience. Accounts Payable experience a plus. Experience working in MNC is preferred
Working experience dealing with customers; customer-centric skills and personality
Logical thinker who constantly thinks of process improvements
Good documentation skills
