Job Summary
Design and build a strategy which delivers the Business Unit Objectives at competitive cost, quality and customer service. The SC Manager works with the all responsible units to create value through continuous improvement in the end to en Supply Chain.
Primary Responsibilities
* Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
* Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
* Assess appropriate material handling and costing equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move or store materials.
* Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
* Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
* Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows.
* Design or implement plant warehousing strategies for production materials or finished products.
* Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow.
* Evaluate and select information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting of materials or products distribution, storage, or inventory.
* Strive for operational excellence
Qualifications
* male, 30-45 years old
* With Bachelor Degree in Business Administration
* Minimum of 3 years experience in an SC Managerial Capacity
* Extensive knowledge of purchase order systems and related software. Experienced in SAP, Oracle, BPICs equivalent is preferred.
* Preferably from Car Manufacturing or related industry.
