The person will work closely with the GMU and countries in executing key WW&GMU sales plays across ASEAN countries with their respective alliances or ISV's. The preferred candidate should have a good understanding of Oracle, Infor&Microsoft offerings, and how these alliances offerings complement various IBM business units offerings and go-to-market strategy. The person should be able to work independently, and has a good understanding of various business units internally and externally - GBS, STG, and Business Partner eco-system. This sales professional leads multi-functional teams covering large, complex opportunities, negotiating with the highest levels of customer management and services practice leaders, and is generally guided by business directives, and has latitude to define priorities and resources for sales opportunities. Communication/Negotiation: Adapts communications and approaches to conclude negotiations with various teams (GBS, STG, etc) and/or IBM Business Partner and alliances executives, resulting in common agreements to solve customer business requirements. Ensures that the relationship teams and IBM business partners have a reasonable and sufficient knowledge of the specialty to help determine the preferred IBM offerings to satisfy customer requirements. Problem Solving: In-depth knowledge of business operations of area/country and geography. Understands organization resources, priorities, needs and policies that relate to staffing, engaging, and winning sales opportunities, and provides advice to management. Designs total integrated solutions considering hardware, software and services, including offerings from other specialties, to meet complex customer business requirements. Contribution/Leadership : Leads multi-functional teams of other professionals (such as sales specialists, client relationship professionals, consultants, I/T specialists, I/T architects, and IBM Business Partners) to deliver complex or leading edge customer requirements. Impact on Business/Scope Accountable for success of sales engagements involving multi-functional area in asean and countries. Leads several opportunities at the same time, and overall responsible for the success of the alliances aligned to the person.
